Choosing home care is a big decision, usually made during a stressful week. Here is what we do to make it easier.
Every caregiver passes a background check, an in person interview and reference checks before they ever enter a client home. Training continues after hiring, not just on day one.
Nobody gets a template. We write your plan around your routine, your preferences and your goals, then adjust it whenever your needs change.
We come to you, look at the home, listen to the family and give you an honest recommendation. There is no cost and no obligation to hire us.
Every plan is put together from the services below. Start with one, add more whenever life changes.
Respectful hands on help with the daily tasks that keep you comfortable, clean and safe at home.

Safe, private help with bathing so the bathroom stops feeling like the riskiest room in the house.

Looking like yourself every day, with quiet help choosing clothes, dressing and staying fresh.

Steady support for walking, standing and moving around the home, plus a room by room safety review.

Home cooked meals you actually want to eat, prepared the way you like them and shared at your table.

A friendly, on time reminder so the medication you manage yourself does not get missed or doubled.

A note on what we do. Natural Living Homecare provides non medical support services only. Our caregivers assist with daily living, comfort and safety at home. We do not provide nursing, medical treatment, diagnosis or therapy, and we do not administer medication. We can remind you when it is time to take medication that you manage yourself.
We have spent years in Kent homes. You get a written plan, a caregiver you have met, and an office that picks up when you call.
Nothing is decided on the first call. We listen, we visit, and only then do we talk about a plan.
Call us or send the form. We ask a few questions, answer yours honestly, and set a time to meet at the home. Nothing is decided on that first call.
We visit, walk through the home and build a written plan with you and your family. You approve every task and you see the cost before anything starts.
We match you with a caregiver based on your needs, your schedule, your language and your personality. You meet them before care begins.
We follow up after the first week and stay in regular contact. If anything is not working, we fix it. Adjusting the plan is normal and expected.
We are based in Kent and we serve the cities around us. If you are just outside this list, call us anyway and we will give you an honest answer.
I started Natural Living Homecare because I kept meeting families who were told their only option was to move mom or dad out of the house. That never sat right with me. Home is where people are calmest, safest and most themselves. Our job is to make staying there possible.

We write the plan with you, we introduce the caregiver before the first visit, and we answer the phone. That is the whole promise.
Cooking together, walking to the mailbox, sitting through an afternoon storm. Good care is made of small, ordinary things.
Straight answers about cost, screening and how quickly care can start. If your question is not here, call us.
Cost depends on how many hours you need each week and what kind of care is involved. Overnight and around the clock care are priced differently from a few morning visits. We give you a clear hourly rate and a written estimate at the free assessment, before you commit to anything.
Many families pay privately, and many use a long term care insurance policy. We can provide the visit records and invoices most policies require for reimbursement. Call us and we will tell you exactly which programs and insurers we work with.
Every caregiver completes an application, an in person interview, reference checks and a Washington State background check before hire. We verify credentials required by the state for home care aides, and we continue training after hiring. We only send caregivers into homes we would trust with our own families.
Yes, and you never need a reason beyond it not feeling right. Personality fit matters as much as skill. Call the office and we will arrange a different caregiver. There is no penalty and no awkward conversation required on your side.
We build schedules that range from a few hours a week to full around the clock care. Call us with the hours you have in mind and we will tell you straight away whether we can staff it.
Often within a few days of the assessment, and sometimes sooner for urgent situations such as a hospital discharge. It depends on caregiver availability and the schedule you need. We will give you a real date rather than a hopeful one.
Yes. We offer awake overnight care, where the caregiver stays up and checks on your loved one through the night, and sleeping overnight care, where the caregiver rests in the home and wakes when needed. We also provide around the clock coverage with a small rotating team.
Non medical home care, which is what we provide, supports daily living. Bathing, dressing, meals, housekeeping, transportation, companionship and medication reminders. Home health is clinical care ordered by a doctor and delivered by licensed professionals such as nurses and therapists. Many families use both, and we are glad to work alongside a home health team.
We serve Kent and the surrounding King County communities, including Auburn, Federal Way, Renton, Des Moines, SeaTac, Tukwila, Burien, Covington, Maple Valley and south Seattle. If you are just outside those cities, call us anyway and we will tell you honestly whether we can staff it.
Yes. We provide non medical in home support for children and young adults with disabilities, including help with daily routines, engagement and supervision, plus planned respite so parents can rest. This is support only. We do not provide nursing, therapy or behavioral treatment.
